Reserved Placeholders

FormSG's Unique Submission ID

Without creating a question that asks for response ID, inserting a long/short placeholder with the name [response_id] on the word template will automatically generate the submission date of the form entry. This allows users to include the response ID from FormSG for ease of reference back to its FormSG submission.

FormSG's Submission Date

Without creating a question that asks for submission date, inserting a date placeholder with the name [submission_date] on the word template will automatically generate the submission date of the form entry. This allows users to include the date the document is generated.

Recipient Email Placeholder

Without creating a placeholder for the email addresses of intended recipients in your Word Template, the reserved placeholder [recipient_email] will automatically be added to your CSV file if Email is selected as an output destination.

As this placeholder is reserved, please do not use the [recipient_email] as a placeholder in your Word Template.
