Data Sources

Users can choose among one or more of the following options as their data sources -- FormSG, CSV and Webhook. These data sources will collect the information needed to replace the placeholders in your Word Template and generate the final document. Here is an overview of how each of the options act as a data source:

FormSG

When users fill in the FormSG form, the submitted data will replace the placeholders in your word template.

CSV

A project-specific CSV template, which can be found in the project summary page, will be available for you to download after you publish the project. Fill in the CSV template with data, and it will be used to replace placeholders in your word template.

Webhook

(For Advanced Users): Send data over the webhook link to replace placeholders in your word template. This option is primarily for developers to integrate with other systems.
