Management Portal Issues
1. What do I need to prepare when using docCentral?
You have to prepare these documents:
- Completed FormSG form
- Word document filled with placeholders using the Word Add-in.
The docCentral portal will link these two up for you, and return you the completed document at your desired email address.
2. Why didn't I receive my OTP (One-Time Password)?
The OTP usually takes some time to be sent as it gets cleared through the various channels to your mailbox. If you have been waiting for a long time, you may try resending the OTP. Do also check under Inbox (External) or Junk Mail for the OTP email as well.
3. Why am I getting a “Unable to Submit OTP. Please try again later.” error?
When using GSIB laptops, you might encounter an issue like this, after entering your OTP:
This is an issue that is caused by the Menlo Security Protocol. You may solve this issue by refreshing the page, and you should be logged into docCentral. Otherwise, please request another OTP by clicking on the “Resend OTP” button.
4. Can I use One FormSG form to populate multiple templates I have simultaneously?
No. There is a strict pairing of one FormSG to one template at a time. Alternatively, you can re-upload the Word template onto the existing project with the FormSG form you want to re-use, if both templates have the same placeholder tags to fill up.
5. I can’t publish my docCentral project! Why?
You may be unable to publish your project as:
- You have not uploaded your Word document
- You have not inserted your FormSG shareable link
- You have not inserted your FormSG secret key
- You did not complete the steps to insert the recipient email field into FormSG
- You did not insert your webhook into your FormSG.
Please check that all these steps are done, and try to publish again.
6. I inserted my FormSG link, but I can't proceed with publishing my project. What's wrong?
You have most likely inserted a FormSG link that is not shareable. The process to get your shareable FormSG link is found here.
7. I edited my project and saved it. However, now, I'm not getting any completed documents. Why?
When you click on the "Save" button, your docCentral project will become unpublished. To resume receiving documents, make sure to publish your project again with the "Publish" button at the bottom of the project page.
8. I can't upload my Microsoft Word template! Why?
Check that what you are uploading is not classified "confidential" and above. The security clearance level is checked by the GSIB every upload and will not accept uploading of confidential and higher documents.
